Our Mission
PBMA’s mission is to promote the use of quality concrete pavers, blocks, and allied products across India, supporting sustainable infrastructure and resilient urban development. PBMA works to create awareness, set industry standards, and provide technical education to manufacturers, suppliers, and stakeholders. Through research, training, and collaboration, we ensure that concrete pavers and blocks become the preferred choice in municipal, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. We are a not-for-profit association, uniting over 100+ members nationwide, dedicated to driving innovation, sustainability, and growth in the paver and block industry.

Our Latest InitiativesThe Challenge We Address
India’s rapid urbanization demands durable, sustainable, and cost-effective paving solutions. Yet, the use of poor-quality or unstandardized materials often leads to premature failures in roads, walkways, and public spaces — increasing costs and reducing safety. Concrete pavers and blocks are a proven alternative to conventional materials, offering durability, versatility, and eco-friendly benefits. However, many projects across India still lack access to standardized products and best practices.
PBMA works to bridge this gap by:

- Collaborating with BIS committees to ensure high-quality standards.
- Organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences to spread technical knowledge.
- Supporting members with resources, training, and exposure to global innovations.

Our Presence
Our Timeline
2013
PBMA was founded as a not-for-profit association with a vision to unite India’s paver and block manufacturers under one collective body. The goal was to create a strong national voice to promote quality, sustainability, and innovation in concrete products.
2015
Launched the first series of technical seminars and workshops across India. These events brought together manufacturers, engineers, and policymakers to spread awareness about the importance of standards and modern paving practices in infrastructure projects.
2017
PBMA expanded its footprint by forming regional clusters in the North, South, East, and West of India. This allowed members to collaborate locally while still being connected to the larger national network, strengthening advocacy at every level.
2018
The Association was officially registered as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013. A formal managing committee was elected, marking a major step towards becoming an institutionally recognized voice of the industry.
2019
PBMA secured representation in BIS Committees, ensuring that the views and expertise of manufacturers influenced the development of national standards. This milestone gave members a direct role in shaping the quality benchmarks of the industry.
2021
Despite challenges in the construction ecosystem, PBMA organized nationwide conferences, training sessions, and certification programs. These initiatives empowered members with the latest knowledge, technology upgrades, and networking opportunities.
2023
Membership grew to over 100+ manufacturers, suppliers, and associates. With representation from more than 12 states, PBMA became the largest organized body of paver and block manufacturers in the country.
2025
PBMA announced India as the host for the 13th International Conference on Concrete Block Pavement (ICCBP) to be held in Hyderabad. This marked the first time the event was returning to Asia after several years, and positioned India as a hub for global knowledge exchange.
