Smart City – What An Idea, just as it name it indeed is a smart idea, mooted by the Government in power with a decent amount of funds granted for the same.
It is one big opportunity for City planners, engineers, architects, industry leaders, associations and citizens as a whole to contribute to this great initiative of transforming our cities and towns to catch up with the rest of the world.

Spread awareness of the use of Precast Concrete Products in every possible manner which should have been the norm long ago. But its high time we use it now in every possible manner
Educate and enlighten the decision-makers about the use and availability of a range of innovative and new products which are already being used all over the world but still not implemented in India for various reasons which do not serve the cause.
Help set the best of standards and specifications which are fully updated and well suited for our conditions and environment. PBMA has already been very active and pursuant in this aspect and already contributed immensely in formulating and updating standards with the premier institutions in India.
Help the Precast Concrete Industry in modernising and keeping up with the latest technology in Raw materials, Mix designs, Manufacturing Technology, Systems and Procedures, Testing and Inspection, Design and conceptualisation, Installation and Installer Training etc.
Conduct meetings, seminars, plant visits and conferences for the benefit of members, Project engineers, designers, Government and semi-government agencies to spread awareness about various aspects, have discussions, interactions and deliberations for the benefit of the industry and the country as a whole
