Responsibilities for painter helper Visually inspects parts to maximize the quality of the product Physically marks part numbers on parts, attaches paperwork and dates where applicable, must be able to buff, prime, tape,sand, and block. Must be alert and aware of possible hazards and contact immediate supervisor for maintenance needs May have to work staggered hours to keep up production needs. Must make proper hanger and hook selection to hang parts Load parts to satisfy production schedules and due dates Must be able to identify specialty units from estimates provided and identify these units to assist painters in properly painting and to ensure on-time delivery Assists in handling and moving objects Qualifications for painter helper Verifiable experience The Painter Helper primarily assists the painter on all work activities and helps in staging materials and necessary tools to execute each work activity Using shop safety handling practice, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
