This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients. The MRI Technologist is responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, ensuring patient comfort, coordinating with physicians, maintaining accurate documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A minimum of two years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI machine efficiently and safely.
- Prepare patients for scans, explaining the procedure to alleviate anxiety.
- Coordinate with physicians to obtain necessary information and ensure timely delivery of results.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, adhering to patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
- Perform patient care tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology.
- Minimum two years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
- Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners.
- Proficiency in performing all Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine and occasional body MRI.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization.
Special Considerations:
- Full-time position (40 hours/week) for the first two weeks.
- Solo weekend shifts begin September 6th and 7th (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Flexibility required to work days and/or evenings during orientation.
Scheduling:
- Full-time (40 hours/week).
- Initial two weeks of full-time work before transitioning to weekend shifts.
- Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Day and/or evening shifts may be required during orientation.
