Job Title: Dispatcher ( McKittrick, California, 93251) shift will be a start time between 5am to 9am depending on what shift is available at the time. Weekend shifts are 5a-6pMust be able to work any of the 7 days as schedules could change week to week. Will Have to work 7 days every 3rd week rotating with the other dispatchers. Job Description The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and dispatching surface and sub-surface resources, coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities through efficient logistics management processes, and effectively communicating both orally and in writing. The role involves identifying opportunities for improvement in non-value-added activities, maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting SAP scheduling processes, and ensuring data accuracy in SAP entries. Responsibilities + Schedule and dispatch surface and sub-surface resources. + Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities through efficient logistics management processes. + Effectively communicate both orally and in writing. + Identify opportunities for improvement in non-value-added activities. + Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). + Support SAP scheduling process. + Edit work orders in SAP to ensure correct activities are entered properly. + Continuously look for opportunities to eliminate non-value-added activities and increase productivity. + Participate in Lean/continuous improvement activities. + Identify and communicate opportunities for reduction in lead/cycle time per job order. Essential Skills + Knowledge and understanding of the work and material flow process. + Ability to map dispatch process flows. + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.). + SAP and ARC GIS mapping experience desired. + Understanding of data quality and its value to operations. + Proficiency in loading, transferring, manipulating, and displaying data. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Interaction with other area teams. + Strong customer service skills. + Experience in project coordination and reporting. + Analytic skills with a focus on data management. Work Environment The role is situated in a center-pit environment with working hours from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering every other Friday off. The position will transition to a new office in Bakersfield, California, in Q1. The work environment is dynamic and technology-driven, providing opportunities for continuous learning and improvement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
