Career Strategies is the valley’s premier staffing company for the apartment industry. We are currently seeking SUPER STAR Leasing Consultants for positions around the San Diego County! Many of our leasing positions have immediate start dates, AND plenty of room for advancement! Full and part time positions are available NOW!
We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic, motivated, organized, positive people with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and SALES skills who can START IMMEDIATELY.
The Leasing Consultant is primarily responsible for performing all activities related to apartment rentals, resident move-ins, and lease renewals including completion of all required administrative paperwork. The Leasing Consultant also performs tasks related to the community’s overall marketing and resident retention programs and strategies. The Leasing Consultant provides excellent customer service by responding to resident inquiries and concerns.
Specific duties may include:

• Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls, schedule appointments, conduct property tours and promote attractive community features
• Greet visitors (residents, future residents and internal team members)
• Prepare refreshments
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of all lease-related competition
• Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related competition
• Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data, and assist with other computer data entry as necessary
• Deliver new resident gifts and move-in packets
• Inspect units for move-ins to ensure units are ready
• Collect application fees, deposits and rent
• Prepare and submit application materials for approval
• Follow up with prospects after viewing homes or submitting applications
• Prepare service requests

Job Requirements

• Must have apartment leasing experience to be considered
• Ability to be prompt and on time every day
• Apartment industry software such as Yardi, OneSite, MRI, AMSI, CRM, Appfolio, Yieldstar (always a plus)
• Reliable transportation: We reimburse our employees on public transportation $5 every day you work!
• Clean Criminal Background: a background check is conducted prior to being hired
